A broken wrist For a holiday twist

I broke my wrist two weeks ago. It hampered this some but. I am getting.better ech day. I am getting my feet wet back with typing. Each day gets better and I missed helping inspire you. Have blessed holidays. Be kind to each other and appreciate value in everyone.

My Mind In A Moving Box

This past week was filled with moving and boxes. I must say that it is good to be moved, but dreary to look at the boxes that still need unpacked. The rain has not helped my mood much either. Box after box, I find myself with some sense of joy putting things away. Then I turn to the garage and bring more in. This turns into dread. How many of these things are out there? Do I really have that much stuff?

It was then that I had a moment of realizing that there is so much clutter I am keeping. Clutter in my mind, and in my house. We all do this. Everyone wants to hold on to things for all sorts of reasons. Unless you are a hoarder. Then you better talk to someone. Cleaning your mind is just as important.

The things in the past that keep moving with you are ready to be packed away and stored for good. You are creating your own clutter of emotional boxes that you do not have to let stick around. Sort through what you need to and clear out those boxes. Allow yourself to be free of clutter and enjoy what is present around you.

You may be surprised at what you find when you clean out those old boxes. Memories and moments should be remembered and relived.

We often think that we have less power over many things that are going on in life. The fact of the matter is we do have power! Reminding yourself of "belief" each day will help you remember that fact.

It is easy to teach someone how to do something we already know. Teaching a child how to walk, talk, draw, sing, dance and much more, is one example. What about teaching a co-worker that is new to the position? So when we get to the point of thinking we have no power in a situation I want you to think of embarking into the unknown. A child or a new worker are scared at first most of the time.

The personal power of desire pushes them to not be afraid and look at what can be done!

Sailing Your Ship Of Energy

Everyone is charge of their own personal vessel of energy in the universe.
It is important to bring your energy to the ocean of life. Your energy can guide yourself and others to better places. Imagine a dark night with only the stars and moon to guide you.

Now look within yourself to find things that bring out your energy. The positive energy is smoother and not as rough of waters as the negative energy side. This is obvious. Would you rather travel the smooth water or the rough water during the darkness?

Finding our focus can be difficult. People struggle and cause stress in their lives because they are not sure what it is. A possibly turns into a reality when you do not let negative words take you over. They will try. They are on a mission to destroy you! They are strong! They will work overtime in you subconscious! There is nothing that will stop negativity from trying to get to you and impact your life. You must fight fire with fire!

The next time that you clean the house or wash the car, get in a habit to clean your mind. Create a routine that allows you to do your best at letting anything go that has been bothering you. Turn impossible into "I'm Possible!" Reprogramming yourself to not accept unwarranted words are in your control. It is not easy to do. After all, the negative words are what society remembers most.

If the effort is made it can be done! You can think about the positive side of things and the wonderful side of life. Things could always be worse and we are a gift to the world. Each and every one of us.

It is impossible to be rid of all negative things in the world but, I am POSITIVE that you will enjoy life much better by nourishing the good and positive side to your brain. Let your subconscious soak in that for a while.

Astonishing Comes In All Forms And Sizes

Astonishing does not have to be enormous. Astonishment has the wonderful ability to take form to any shape it is desired. The desire that is a thought transpired into action. The action begins to materialize the idea of desire and a movement has began. The movement that changes something in your life. Something for the better.


We all have the ability to be astonishing in life. Everyone is blessed with a gift. That gift was given to you with the intent of it being nurtured and developed. One small gift from someone that is released into the society is the water that helps us keep growing. 


The size of the impact on how astonishing you can be does not matter. An amazing truth is the impact you can have without even knowing it. Walk with a step that points you in a direction of finding the "astonishing" in yourself. Life Is A Giant Farmers Market For The World

During the summer months many communities have a Farmers Market. This is where the local farmers embrace the area with fresh items that we enjoy. The public has an opportunity to gather in the city to share resources. I enjoy going to the Farmers Market. It is always inspiring and full of culture.

Together we should support our community of life. We are the farmers of our own markets. How are you going to care for it this season? Every season needs attention. Use the light and warmth from the sun to motivate and inspire your contribution to life. The world needs all of the gardeners to help out. 

When I go to the Farmers Market I feel more connected with my community. I have gotten to know several people and enjoy the experience each time I go. I always fall into the "artist" mode and take in everything around me. It is heartwarming. As I look around at the way the market is set up and how people are moving about, you see love and  humanity in abundance.

Throughout history their have been produce men that took a cart through town. That was the way that people first bought some vegetables. The process is a little different but, the nostalgia is still there by the event itself. People often forget about having the luxury of getting fresh food or any food at all. The Great Depression, was not good times.

Take the nostalgia of the past and bring it to the present. Find a Farmers Market in the area and check it out. Everyone that invests in their own community will create a beautiful garden in their own back yard. As the garden grows it starts to connect with other gardens. 

Embrace connections that help each other to grow. Help create a beautiful world where it is always growing with robust life. Appreciate what we have and do not ever forget The Great Depression. Anything can happen in life. Be prepared. Know what to do and how to do it. What would you do if the stores were empty and closed? Do you know where to go and get local grown food? 


Help the growth of your environment and help make a market of incredible offerings to be a part of. 


Just become involved...

If Your Hot And Miserable Close Your Eyes

With the heat rising during the summer months it is easy to be hot and miserable. Especially if you do not have any air conditioning, fans, or way to get cooled down. The thermostat outside seems to be rising everyday lately. Some days are so humid you could reach out and grab a chunk of humidity in the air.


If your miserable close your eyes for a moment. Imagine that you are in a poverty stricken country.

• There is no electric, gas, running water or any kind of utilities you are used to for daily living.
• There is very little food.
• There are bugs, snakes and poisonous insects.
• There is illness everywhere.
• You can smell death of young because of malnutrition.
• Your future is hard to picture in your mind. 

Now open your eyes...

• You are alive.
• You are safe.
• You are fortunate to have what is in front of you right now.
• You could always have it worse.

By closing your eyes and imagining that things could be worse than they are will help you appreciate what you have. It is OK to be miserable. It is OK to get hot and whine. We just have to remember to let it pass quickly when we do get those thoughts. Hanging onto miserable situations or thoughts only make things worse. If you opened your eyes with appreciation for life and humanity, you get it...

Get involved with your community and try to do what you can to help others not be miserable. You can make a difference and create a movement. A movement that would never make you miserable again. Helping others wraps your soul with material that makes you feel good all the time.

The Rotary Foundation Does More Than We Know, Take A Look At Project Jericho

I heard someone mention that they knew the Rotary Foundation has been around a long time but, did not remember what they did exactly. It was not even a couple of days later and I heard something similar again. This time it was from someone else. I fell into the same category of forgetting myself. The Rotary Club as many of us remember, has grown and reached out in a contemporary way to help humanity.

They work closely with empowering youths and to help them overcome adversity. I am involved in women's group that supports and encourages community connections. It is an honor to say that I will be attending a luncheon supporting Project Jericho, next month. The family line of education and support between the Rotary Foundation, Clark State, Community College, and all of the volunteers from the area have made the local teenagers create and grow.


Take a look below at the video that the teens of Project Jericho put together. I could not be more proud of their creativity, their perseverance to not stop because of fear. They want to help their community and pay it forward. After all, they have opinions. It is their community as well and we are family. On that note...Meet the family.~

Have a day that makes you snort when you laugh! Just keep a tissue close by, just in case. And always smile and be kind. You have a great smile! 

Betty Ford Was Art

Betty Ford created a platform in helping others. She let you know that everyone has the same issues in life. We also have a hard time dealing with them at times. It is normal.

It is important to learn from mistakes and others knowledge. As a family we need to help protect and guide each other if we can. Betty Ford let people know that it was alright if you were not perfect but, to get focused and move forward with support.


We will miss you Betty. You were a wonderful vessel in life. We appreciate your love of people and helping make the world a better place of life and love. I hope that we can continue to nurture the seeds that Betty Ford has planted for us. There are many lives that have been touched by her grace. What could it have been like today without her revolution?

Disconnect This Weekend

It is just as important to disconnect from the hyper-connection of today. People need to make some time to stay grounded with life outside the Internet. It is important in balancing yourself inside and out. Humans need the real interaction. Too many people are checking email obsessively and paying more attention to the Internet than their environment.


Take some time this weekend and connect with your environment. It will be refreshing and inspiring at the same time. Using technology is a tool that we need. I encourage new ideas and creativity. We also need to be responsible for ourselves. Let yourself get some sleep. Spend more time with family. Get some fresh air. We can get sidetracked while online and the time passes quickly. The kids need us. We need them. We need each other. We are life. We are what it is all about.

The Possibilities of the future are endless. We are all part of life. We all have value. There are so many hidden treasures out there. The world is our gift. Open it, enjoy it, take care of it, help it grow and be a family together. It can happen...

Women Take A Bow

All of the women out there should stand up and take a bow! We all have earned recognition for handling the things we do. There used to be a time when we were staying at home and raising our children. Today we are often working mothers that still raise the children. What ever the situation is for a women today, she has a gift.

The women of the world should be proud of how far we have came over time. Some countries still limit a woman's opportunities. I encourage you to take a step into creating a revolution of empowering women and young girls. Things are different for women today. They still have the duties that they always had when they stayed at home. Now they just add the job on the outside to it. If you have a relationship on top of all of that, you are a very strong person. I am proud of you. It can be hard trying to find a good balance for everything.


It is not easy and you should be applauded for all of your efforts.  However, there is more opportunity for you than you can imagine in the world today. I am proud of you for working hard at what you do and hope that you spread that to your community to encourage others. We all need each other and your own community is a great place to start. I am proud of you for not giving up no matter how hard things get at times. You inspire others. Thank you...

Flip Flops are a part of the summer fun in many ways. They are disposable and often discarded without thought. The Flip Flops Of Summer, are not just about shoes.

It is the ups and downs that many of us have. They can bring change, convenience, comfort, fun and something new. It may just be for a season. You many just need to adjust your thinking or approach. We have things that flip-flop in our lives all the time. That is a part of the systematic structure to success. If you do not flop, you can not flip into a great new direction.

You have to take that first step in checking things out, getting things organized and implement the watering of your seeds. Once you arrive there you will find many supportive people and avenues that will help you succeed. They are there because of their passion to help people.
• Seeds to a new career: The seeds that will get you into a job that makes you inspired to be there each day. There are many jobs out there to suit every soul in the world. They were meant for you. They were designed to be there for you when you were ready. We all have a gift. Open yours and enjoy the present of life.
• Seeds to make a change: The seeds that will get you moving forward. The best seeds of all. These are the ones that make you contemplate what your desires in life really are. The older generation can only encourage the younger generation to take those seeds seriously. Hold them and take care of them. Plant them along the way and continue to add more seeds to your personal garden of life as you grow. The size of your garden will not matter as much as how beautiful it is with the passion and soul of the true desire that illuminates from it. It will become the most beautiful thing you have ever seen. It will be the you that you were meant to be. Listen to yourself inside. Your pretty smart you know...

          I only encourage you from the bottom of my heart and soul. I want you to feel valuable and enjoy the things in life that God wants you to. Your desires and dreams are inside you for a reason. It may be something small. It may be big. Whatever it is...Plant The Seeds and act on it. It can grow and happen if you really want it to. The seeds will not grow on their own. They need you. We all need you. Small towns, small world, small universe. Just imagine...~

Google + Project is looking for people interested in trying out the new Social Networking Site. It looks very interesting with the updated technology they use for many forums. There is much to talk about with this awesome possibility of connections for people.

I am so honored that you were concerned. The emails I have received on my being ill are sweet. I appreciate them all. It was just a bad virus that set other things in motion. Knowing that you were here was not going to keep me down. You inspired me to get better each day. :)


I jumped on here as soon as I felt good enough and am back in the swing of things. You can imagine how many other things I need to tend to as well. Working and paying the bills are a biggie. However, my  passion for being here and helping inspire people to appreciate each other is so important to me. It is what truly makes me happy. I want to help the world dance together.~

Down Sick Slows Me Down For A Moment

I wanted to post something to let you know I am still here for you. Sickness has slowed down my moments. My oldest daughter has been very sick this past week. Helping her out with my grandchild enabled me to catch this virus. Yeah me~ :(

However, I am thinking of you all and encourage you to do something nice out there for me today. Make someone smile. No matter how yucky we feel it always warms the soul for a kind smile. I will think of those beautiful smiles today and I am sure it will help me get better faster!

Action is one of the most important keys we should always carry with us. It is the success or failure that you embark on. You act and move upon your situation or ideas. If you do not utilize the action key you are going to be idle. Someone else is going to come along and drive right past you in life. Their movement will take them to wonderful places by moving forward. The paths that we take are very diversified. This is part of the intrinsic heartbeat we carry within our family of humanity. 

Encourage yourself to put something into action. "I dare ya!" It can be small or large. Action will show you if it was a good or bad idea. There is no forward movement without action. Do you want to be left behind it his fabulous universe of possibilities? I don't think so. I hope not! Check your Key-Chain for that Action Key and get moving. Al Roker is "Lending Hands" again. The NBC, Today show has created a wonderful platform that enables Al, to represent the love of human beings. I am proud of him for the message he is trying to promote and for NBC letting this take place each year. The various doners of all kinds of resources prove that there are companies that truly want to help with positive change in the world. Small things we do to help others has no price on its appreciation. Being without the basic needs in society should not be something we allow in our worlds family. We should take care of our family...

I hope this inspires you to help your local community. You can make a huge difference. Water Your Mail Carrier Today

Our Mail Carrier friends could use watering sometimes. During the warmer months of the year it is hard to stay hydrated properly. The neighborhood mail-carrier pushes through the diverse weather it blankets them with each day. They are careful, articulate, friendly, caring and hard working individuals. They work hard. Like many others they do not get the respect they deserve.

Everyone needs to be appreciated. We should appreciate each other. There are many things people do that go un-noticed. That is part of life and not everyone seeks accolade. However, just by giving your mail carrier a bottle of water, a dry old hand towel, a couple of paper towels, could mean more than you could imagine. 

The Mail Carrier could have forgot their thermos in a rush that morning. They could have dropped their "Sweat Towel." They may wear glasses and a paper towel would be just the thing they need. Most will more than likely say "No Thank You." When they go home they will talk about this to everyone. They will feel so appreciated for what they do that they will be inspired. Without even a thought, they will help someone else down the road. You will have taken a step  in looking at life with appreciation in all things. 

You my friend made a difference. One random act of kindness will strengthen the pulse of love for humanity. It will become heard around the world. You may just help someone from fainting that day with the water. 

Good lookin out...~ Your step has a little more of a swagger to it.~

Get Your Flippers

Grab your flippers if the water starts to rise. Everyone has a moment in life that makes us feel like we are drowning.  The storms that come through can be torrential in strength. The key to remember is that the storm will pass. 


Hang on with all you have inside of you. Use your flippers to keep moving. Make sure that you know with your heart that wherever you are, others are there with you. We all have the same stuff going on. We will ride out the storm with you and be your anchor of support.


Make sure you smile everyday, laugh as something silly and be kind. You are on your way my friend....


Don't forget to flip those feet  \ /  (not a very good set of flippers but, hey...it's improvising)...

Planet Of The School Bus

When the doors on the school bus close it becomes a different world. There suddenly seems to be a new planet in our solar system. The population consists of all children and one adult. It is the School Bus. The children seem to unleash every part of energy they had to control at school. The bell rings, the doors open, the kids try not to run but, always jump on the bus quickly with relief. They are ready to talk to their friends and goof around. Sometimes it is the best part of their day! The Bus Driver is just as excited! Not really but, a good Bus Driver has insight on this and is ready for them to come a running... 


Bus Drivers do a wonderful job with our children. We often forget about thanking them. A few years ago I realized I had been forgetting our Bus Driver. At the end of the year I made sure to thank her and gave her a gift. It was a small token of my appreciation. I continue to do this for her. Tammy is wonderful with the kids and keeps them safe.

A Bus Driver that cares for children and keeps them safe is something we take for granted. Parents often think the school owes you a driver like that. This is true to a point. I believe it comes down to how well people do their job. How much passion they have will carry through into what they are doing.

I appreciate Tammy and her passion. The love of children and the insight to their behavior allows Tammy to be remarkable. As a parent I can not thank her enough for being good at what she does. "Thank you Tammy."

Thank you to all of the Bus Drivers in the world. What you do for "Our World's Family" is important. "Have a summer of inspiration and get some rest."~

Teachers Need You

Summer is about to take off with a bang! I hope that everyone takes just a little bit of their time to thank the teachers in the world. A Teacher starts their career with the intent to save the world one child at a time. It"s beautiful. The passion of learning and educating seeps from their bodies of inspiration. Each one looks forward to a better year than the next. What will come next? Teachers get a bad wrap a lot of the times. I know that there are some bad teachers out there. There are some teachers that have lost their focus in making the world grow. How can you blame them?

We all know that kids today behave much different than in the past. When I was in school a student would never interrupt the teacher and be disrespectful with their language. People get tired of being beaten up emotionally and letting the negativity pound at them day after day. They often decide to just tune it out. That is the easiest. Again, they are tired...


The fight for our children each day needs everyone. If a teacher is not achieving their best potential of creating a classroom of inspiration, help them out. Remind them of how much you appreciate them being their for your child. They chose this career by choice. They chose it because they care about Our World's Family.

• Just give a Teacher something to think about this summer. Inspire them with your gratitude of caring for kids. 
• Remind them of how much influence they have and appreciate how much they do.
• Inspire them to keep moving forward with our children each year and push through the storms. 
• Let them know that even one child in their career mattered. It could be the next one that saves the world.

One comment, One Smile, One hug, One card, One note, One call, One email, (get my point :) can change the world through each other. Your inspiration to an educator can change the life of a child you may never know because, of the Teacher you encouraged to never forget the flow of Love and Life...

I Have An Idea For You

I encourage you to take time and think about something. Anything you want to but, it has to be an idea. The stipulation is creativity. I want you to think about one of those ideas that has been on your mind for a long time. The one that comes and goes while leaving you thoughts of (I think I could...) The truth is that you CAN!


Let the ideas come and go from your mind today. However, take time to make notes of the things that pop in your head. Artists often have to get up in the middle of the night so they can release that creativity. I always have a tablet laying around for when the ideas start to pour out. They may trickle, they may be overflowing, they can even be rare. I have learned over the years that they do come. No matter what you are doing and who you are they will arrive. You have to be open enough to receive them.

Our world is so fast that we do not take time for ourselves. This is a personal growth tool for you to be able to kick start any stagnate idea that has been left on hold. Anything is possible if you believe in yourself. We are all here for you and can not wait to see what you are doing to inspire your world. Your ideas can be small or large. They just have to be an idea of yours. Change in decorating your home, landscaping, activities, inventions, advocacy, helping your community, (personal favorite :) Anything your let your soul think about your mind will follow...if you listen...~

Have fun with it and don't stress yourself out. Making growing inside a wonderful journey with your artwork. You have no idea what kind of art you can truly give the world unless you start painting your ideas of life.

Jessie J's Inspiration Is Making The World Dance

I came across one of the most contemporary lights that is going to have an impact on our family. The light is youthful, endearing, courageous, caring and wants to help the world. The light is so beautiful we can not only see it but, hear it as well. The light is Jessie J. She is using her magic through music. We all have the magic inside.


Jessie J, is from London, England. The song that is popular is "Price Tag." I listened to this over and over. It was overwhelming for me to find a young woman with the passion of inspiration in her soul. She has a heart murmurer and suffered a stroke. Jessie was waiting for the debut day of her album and the label went bankrupt. She never wavered. Jessie then went to You-Tube and promoted herself in the best way she could. (One of my most favorites is the Boom-Box Series.) Jessie kept moving forward. Not giving up during some bad storms. She Made It Happen!

Take a look at the first video and take in what she is saying. Then you can move on to the latest official music video and get more inspired. We should be proud of this young woman from across the globe. She is contributing beautiful art that she feels within her soul. That my friend is her gift. "Best of luck Jessie."

Do you let your art stay in the shadows? You need to let others see your gift. Everyone has an artistic gift that we are given to share with the world. Art is in every form of life. Even in the darkness there is beauty to appreciate.

Design Your Soul With Life

How would you describe your personal building?  Have you taken the time to check your interior structure for cracks and deterioration? We start out in life thinking about our hopes and dreams. We think about how we want to live and the type of person we want to be. Will we have children? Will we marry? The list goes on...

We often lose insight to our own architecture. The foundation that we set before is getting older. Can we withstand the storms of the future? Are we happy with what we represent? Are we comfortable with the design inside? After all it is your building. Why shouldn't you take that one-of-a-kind piece of art to life's gallery for display? There is beauty in everything we see, hear, smell, touch, taste. Every sense we have within us gives us the ability to appreciate the art of life. 

Let your life be your artwork. There is a story within us all. We all have a gift to share with others. Often times people are inspiring without even knowing it. Use your life to project the beauty you want to share with the world. We are all important. We are all critical to the growth in the world. We are here for each other. 

Now show me your architecture that your soul is screaming to express. The canvas of life has a never ending edge. We are all able to fit nicely...

Dancing Stars Danced To Life

Dancing stars made the show about life. I am so proud of all of the dancers. Each one brought unique beauty and life to the stage. It resonated through the television and inspired us to breathe more into our lives. Dancing and music have a way of getting inside your veins. They make you want to celebrate, express, and tell a story about the moment. The winner this season (spoiler alert) gave their competitors a level of competition that was hard to beat. Hines Ward and his partner, Kym Johnson are the winners! 

How can you not be proud of all the hard work and effort that went into their dancing. They took it serious and tried to do the best their bodies would allow. The passion that they relayed to others in determination is an inspiration to everyone watching. All of the dancers were so generous with their time and strength. Pushing themselves for charity and in a public display left them open for criticism. They took it, they worked on it, they persevered. No matter what show was their last, they kept moving forward. There is life after dancing on television.

The dancers came away with their wins and losses with something more valuable than a trophy. It was inspiration. No matter where they ended up each week, they took us with them. They were inspired to even do the show and inspired us all by their effort. How can you not be a winner after all of that?

Kirstie Alley was amazing! I applaud her amazing strength. She was older, heavier, and put her self out there for others to watch her after changes in what we remember her as. Kirstie is still the same person. Only wiser. More beautiful. Much more insightful. She has been on a personal growth journey for a little while now. There is no magic path to take in order to get to a happy place. The path is the beauty that you travel upon until the road ends. 

Kirstie Alley makes me proud to be a woman. She makes me proud to be a woman that is getting older. I can only hope that when I reach her age that I can grab the world by its heart and run... I am so honored to have had Kirstie represent older women on Dancing With The Stars. You inspired me to be more beautiful, to be more in-step to dancing with life...~

All of the dancers and people behind the scenes that made the show happen was to inspire us through creative arts. That is a beautiful thing to add to this hot-mess of a world we live in at times. 

Dance today like you are with the stars in the universe. Let yourself try new things. Push your limits! I know you will be amazed at what you can accomplish.  I am honored to be here for you and honored that you spent some of your valuable time with me.
